Eat your way to great skin!


Have you ever wondered how celebs get that healthy glow all year around? We are always discussing our latest beauty regime. But did you know the food you eat could actually be the most powerful beauty tool there is? A lister celebs such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller, Drew Barrymore and Vince Vaughn are all turning to Nutritionist Kimberley Snyder for that red carpet glow.

A new healthy eating plan could be all it takes to rejuvenate cells and generate that youthful glow. Much of our time and energy is spent digesting food. An access of fatty animal products and processed foods which we are all guilty of consuming is putting a strain on our bodies leaving little energy to create that glowing skin we desire. By eating foods which are easier to digest and those which contain alkaline minerals our beauty regime could be made a lot easier. Alkaline minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc are found in green vegetables, avocados, ripe fruits, nuts, seeds, beans, coconut oils and hemp. These foods cleanse the body and help to generate that youthful glow says Snyder.

Top beauty tips include munching on a banana to satisfy sweet cravings and to get rid of those under-eye bags, pineapple to promote the production of collagen vital for skin elasticity and lemon for its powerful cleansing properties. Changes in energy, digestion and skin can be seen in as little as a couple of days. That is me convinced; now pass me a lemon tea!
